Partnerships & Networking
The Student Garden at Stono Preserve collaborates with a range of partners at the College of Charleston and throughout the Charleston community. Networking with a variety of shareholders provides our students with more opportunities, increases awareness of food insecurity in our area, allows a greater number of people to benefit from our education programs, and gives additional people access to our fresh produce. Below is a list of some of our current and past collaborations.
- Audubon South Carolina
- Boy Scouts of America
- Charleston Area Beekeeping Association
- The Green Heart Project
- Sustainable Agriculture Club at the College of Charleston
- Office of Sustainability at the College of Charleston
- South Carolina Aquarium
- One80 Place
- Destiny Community Cafe
- The Stone Soup Collective
- MUSC Urban Garden
- Healing Farms
Our own student garden workers have partnered with the Green Heart Project to create Garden-at-Home videos. Check them out here!
