Food Production

Bunch of carrots harvested at the Student Garden.The Student Garden is growing a variety of vegetables and developing a plan to implement a Campus Supported Agriculture program for the College of Charleston campus community. In this program, the farm operation will be supported by shareholders within the campus community (students, faculty and staff), who share both the benefits and risks of food production. Shareholders either pay or volunteer farm work in exchange for a bag of fresh produce each week. Check back later for more information about the launch of the program.
